Privacy Policy

At Cyberlyte.com we are committed to respecting your privacy. While we collect some information from you, it is our committed policy to ensure that all of your personal information remains private and secure. The effective date of this policy is April 22, 2010 and this is the initial version of Cyberlyte.com’s Privacy Policy.

BILLING INFORMATION

We gather billing information to the extent necessary to process your companies payment for your web site. The exact information depends on your form of payment. If paying by check or money order we record the check/money order number and the dollar amount. If paying by credit card, we gather your card number, expiration date, CCD number, and the name on the card to process the credit card transaction. Credit card transactions are handled by a third-party financial institution, which receive the credit card number and other personal identifying information only to verify the credit card numbers and process transactions.

For credit card transactions, we only store the last four digits of your credit card to assist you if you need to find out which card you used and the approval code. This information is available to our customer service desk so that they can assist you if needed. If you mailed in your payment information along with your subscription form, only the last 4 digits of your credit card are stored in our electronic database to help us identify your transaction. Your initial subscription form is kept as a reference for questions about your account setup.

Our billing is yearly so there is no need to store your private information and put your credit data at risk. Credit cards expire regularly so we find it is best to bill you on an annual basis to ensure your information is current. Many web site hosts allow auto-renewal of your web site through automatically billing a credit card. If your card number changes and you forget to tell them and don’t receive or read any notice from them, your domain name may expire and get resold to another company. By not allowing auto-renewal, our customers never encounter this problem.
